One of my absolute favorite things about crafting wedding films is getting to weave together a story from everything I’m blessed to observe. I walked in on Fran and John’s wedding party praying over them - such a powerful moment, unscripted and inspired - that I am so happy I stumbled upon, as it became such an important piece of the framework of their film!
Fran also told me before their wedding that she and John were going to walk down the aisle together, symbolizing their freedom and unity when entering into marriage. This intentionality, paired with the heartfelt prayer of their bridesmaid, made for a truly impactful moment.
"Remind us through John and Fran that You are the Eternal Bridegroom. Truly, You are waiting for us at the altar of eternal life."
The sequence of their wedding party walking down the aisle, cutting back to this prayer, illustrated that these weren't just people wearing nice dresses but individuals enveloping Fran and John in prayer, surrounding and supporting them. I love how intentional and meaningful this portion of Fran and John’s wedding film is, and it is a reminder to me, as well, of the beauty of marriage within the context of running towards heaven together!
